If you have been closely following what has been at Pinoy Teens over the past year, you may have come to notice how much we dislike our readers to be dissatisfied about anything. That includes providing false information that leads to nowhere. The SEO department, led, by yours truly is taking care the best we can to have you visit our website/s and use our reliable information instead of falling for other websites who just want to make money out of your visit.

It is no secret that we hate Justin.TV and uStream, but that is not without any valid reason. They are awesome websites to host your live streams at, but very bad for watching Boxing Matches, especially PVP fights. That is why I trust Sopcast for Pacquiao Live Streams

If you want to know more about how to watch the Pacquiao vs Clottey Live Stream, don’t hesitate to visit Pinoy Teens Online and get your daily doze of information about it today. As officially announced, we are going to release the official live stream channels this 9th of March.

My emotions are a bit mixed about whether to be proud and have my chin up about the fact that I made it to face the PBB Director himself for a few moments, or whether I should be annoyed by the fact that it took me a few hours to get in front of his face for one little act that led to nowhere, but immediate elimination of any little flame of hope I had to join PBB. I’m not saying that I was expecting a nod to make to the next round, but it would not have hurt if I’d made it. For all I know, I’m not the only one who has not made it in the PBB Teen Clash of 2010 Davao Audition.

Macy, Beige, Jemwel

There have been a few points that I could cite as good, and other memories that I’d like to recall the least about. I have to say that I still ended up as a winner after all, because I was able to give my website a little exposure, and because I was able to make some instant friends, like Jemwel, Macy and Beige, for example.

The struggle to get in front wasn’t that fun at all, for most of the teens in attendance. People pushing you from left and right, from the front and the back. It’s as if you were squeezed into a small can of sardines wherein hundreds of you need to fit in. It has caused a huge delay, I believe, which resulted in most of the later batch, including yours truly to undergo a very quick screening process, unlike many others who had the chance to speak up in front of the Director; like seen on the local TV Patrol.

I wonder how I could have survived the torment that came in from every angle, every side every few moments. The four of us, the three in the picture and yours truly just sticked together and eventually found a way to make it to the front, after quite some time of falling in line whilst dozen entered somewhere in between, ahead of us. We had to help each other, and the motto “no one should be left behind” has contributed much. Hey, we barely knew each other that time, but moments like that call for trust in each other and the option to rely on the other person, which all of us four did.

Though, at the time of the very audition itself upstairs at SM City Davao’s Activity Center, we were split into two separate groups, joined by 18 other teenagers, of which 1 in each group has made it, excluding the four of us. It sucks, but it wasn’t that painful at all; unlike some others who whined after their chances for becoming a PBB housemate were withdrawn. We felt happy despite not making it. We had one another to have a laugh about what happened earlier that day. It was truly, a unique experience that does not come along too often in life.

I didn’t made it this time, and I probably won’t take the same ridiculous audition process again, at least I can say, that I have tried. Have you?

I feel like participating in the quarrel between two blogs of vast differences in niche, target audience, aim, so on and so forth. I’m talking about Mo Twister’s blog and the group blog named Barrio Siete. I may not have fully understood the whole story, but I still don’t think something as little as this is worth fighting for through their respective blogs. It leaves a bad impression on most of each blog’s readers, unless the followers are also as uncivilized as the article respective writers look like in the posts they have written. I’m not saying that they are, but, the way I’ve seen both sides express themselves, is very primitive. I don’t like to see people bashing each other, especially through their blogs, just as much as I hate to see advertisement -but for that I’ve got my Ad Block plugin. Though, there’s no plugin that saves me from posts like this, and this.

I’ll not be taking sides, but it’s very clear to see who is at fault. Basing ones blog quality just on statistics is very petty. Blog Stats is just one thing, readership another, earnings yet another story and there are yet many other factors and criteria that I could name that may be important for one blog, and less important for the other.

Yet they’ve chosen to base it on the Alexa Ranking System. And the article shows very favorable demographs in favor of their own site, I mean, who wants to put stats out that paves you out of the spotlight? If you’d take a second look at the stats, you’ll see the real deal and the naked truth behind the strong words.

So, let’s have a second look, shall we?

Daily Page Views

I’m sorry to burst someones bubble, (I just really hate to be misinformed), but it looks like the least popular blog is clearly seen with the daily page views statistics alone. Does your Pageviews per User helped you in garnering the MOST pageviews? I don’t think so.

Meaning, you may have more pageviews per user (well it’s a Group Blog, people!), it doesn’t means that you’ve got the most pageviews all in all.

Again something that wasn’t posted on the bashing blog. Their readers must be very misinformed, but after all, the headline says it that they are very biased. And the stats also show that for the second time in the row they don’t really favor the blog in question.

(good to see us climbing up the ladder by the way)

The Biggest Blow is Yet to Come

Now, where’s the blog again who called the runner up infamous?

I hope that bloggers, not only from Barrio Siete will take something from this article. Stats are just mere stats. And stats alone. But it doesn’t mean that you can skip some of them. If you analyze something, or say, compare something, please include the whole package. Okay, I leave it to them that they are biased, still, I’d expected more from them than just a trickery post.

I don’t mind stats, and I’m sure Mo doesn’t mind them too. But he’s way on top at a rank within the 100k zone.

Blogging isn’t about stats, nor is it about money or anything you benefit from. I’m seeing blogging from a perspective of just having fun. I used to be a stat-geek, but not anymore, I have learned my lessons from it that it can be pretty boring to base your position in the blogger world on stats alone.

Every blog has an advantage and disadvantage over another. And we cannot compare them by looking at numbers, especially when they are of vast difference. I wonder how come they call themselves bloggers when they didn’t realize this. And not to forget, when they don’t know how to use Alexa the right way.

ps: (by Princess) Mo’s blog got more comments. That, kung titingnan mong maigi ang mga nag-comment dun. Various people. On the other hand we have a blog in which the author is defending him/herself by almost every comment posted by others.

The iPhone and the iPod are two truly amazing products that are capable of a lot of things. And so is the iPad, and any other advanced digital device of our generation. The iPhone and iPod, in fact, have been breakthrough products that have changed the ways we listen to music and communicate immensely. Yet, there is still this one crowd left, the people untouched and dismayed by the amazing products that Apple has presented them – the Windows/Open Source OS’es Users. Which is the market Apple is trying to target with their stupid iTampon iPad.

I can’t say that I enjoyed being an iPod Touch User if I did not jailbreak it. There are just too many restrictions on the device itself. You can’t do this, you can’t do that. You can’t run this and you can’t run that. Everything has to go throw Apple’s gate, and everything that they won’t really benefit something from – or may be to their disadvantage, will never land on any of these devices I’m talking about (iPhone/iPad/iPod).

Apple is going for the big fish with their iPad product. They want the mainstream consumer market who use their laptops/netbooks/desktops merely for personal entertainment or some other -not so geeky- stuff. The iPad is going to amaze them, for sure, and I bet a lot of people -including me before I thought about this and read an related article- were starting to put aside some money to get one of them.

I feel enlightened after reading the post I linked to above. It makes me feel very foolish to have believed that the iPad is going to be a awesome replacement for today’s netbooks in the near future -but it’s not.

It is just another money making machine for Apple. With the launch of the Online Book Store, the already established App Store and iTunes Store; Apple can make heck lot of money from the iPad and their future users, as you have to PAY for ANYTHING that is GOOD since crap applications are most of the time, free. I don’t want to be one of the people chained to Apple and their stupid Stores (Book/iTunes/App).

Do you?

I just can’t think of the digital world dominated by Apple and their stupid online stores from which only they benefit from. I’m very much happy how the internet and the digital world works at present, as I can say that at least, the MACs are able to run free software like any other operating system. But I fear the day will come, that the iPad will replace the freedom, and their users come to pay the price and look back…

Apple has indeed created a breakthrough product which has doomed the freedom of computing… forever.

This day marks two special occasions in relation to two people I consider slightly near me. Two events events of which honestly just one matters most. I know well that Graxxie doesn’t minds this day much anymore. That’s a fact that I learned on one of her emails wherein she ranted me, a mail that I didn’t cared to read for all I know is that I’ll only get hurt.

The other event that spells slightly less significance than the monthsary date of Graxxie and I would be the birthday of Alica which I’m attending today, actually write now as I write.

I was the only boy in the midst of the pool of girls that were present, okay, not all alone, another guy going by the name Gavin was also there. I heard about this fella years back when the two of us (Alica and I) still used to be talking to each other in a more pleasant and productive way.

I arrived at her house ahead of herself and her accompaniment. She was pretty much surprised that I was there, sitting on the couch anticipating the arrival of the birthday celebrant. She didn’t knew about my appearance until then, and I bet I would not have been there if it wasn’t for her grand mother who invited me over to attend her sweet sixteenth birthday.

As always, and as you may have expected it to be, the birthday was very noisy, well, what else would you expect girls to talk about but boys? And then suddenly shout out loud whenever a name of a cute guy was chimed into the discussion and whenever someone is sharing something kinda emotional? That’s what happened, and pretty much everything that happened.

There was a more odd event though prior my arrival at the birthday scene when I was almost hold-upped in the jeep on my way to Damosa Gateway, yet that’s another, I’m sure insignificant story to tell; since nothing really happened to me that time

I don’t know, but I feel really happy and satisfied about the redesign of my main site, Pinoy Teens Online! I know, it isn’t actually a total redesign, since I believe, a lot of you have already seen the website the way it looks right now before. But trust me, this something totally new. It isn’t the lame black design that you know from back then. I’ve added a lot of new features and made it look much better than it used to be as a default. Although, I might also tweak on the CSS and image files to make it look more livelier and offer it in different colors soon.

Code of page_mag.php

The current theme on the blog has been my very lucky charm. With that on, I never used to have any real problems with the blog. Income, which was later on invested into the hosting was good. The amount of visitors was decent and everything was really just in its proper place. And that is where it is heading to again.

2009 has been one of the top earning years for me, but not really one of the top blogging ones. I’ve used to be more active in 2008, when I started the blog and I’m looking forward to do just that again this year, being more active.

With the new design and the new features that I’ve added it will be much much easier for me and my fellow contributors to bring the discussion to you. More specific categories, and sub-pages where you can find everything that you want, need and is of your interest. Else, there’s still the search bar for emergency purposes. I’m very excited about the reintroduction of the discussion board that is going to happen in the next few weeks, and the tie-up with the various Youth Says Chapters spread all over the Philippines.

It’ll be a fruitful year for Pinoy Teens, even though we’ve started it a bit late. Hey, Chinese New Year is still ahead of us, so, we’re technically just about having a kick-ass 2010 on Pinoy Teens if we look it from a Chinese point of view.

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read this post and for being a follower of Pinoy Teens Online. I won’t let you down, all of you.

I can’t take it anymore. Yes, you may have encountered that statement multiple times being uttered by me, either on Plurk, Facebook on a blog or somewhere else. And it may make you wonder what’s up with me yet again that I have come to a crazy and swift decision like closing up my main project -among others-, Pinoy Teens Online until further notice that may take as long as the first quarter of 2010.My parents, particularly the mother side came up with a few words that really struck me in a very negative way. We were negotiating on a deal for a new laptop, when she just started to laugh and say random words freely that felt like I’ve been stoned. I don’t feel like sharing what she said here, sorry.

I’ll get rest from all this blogging stuff and other online work that I’ve been doing to earn hard for a new laptop. I agreed with my father that he’ll get me an iMac 27-inch i7, but that at the expense of my laptop that was scheduled to come this Christmas, nevertheless there’s still hope that someone else might chime in and show support for a new laptop, and that would be my Ninang and Ninong, among others.

The whole drama has no relation to the failed agreement to get a new laptop this Christmas, well not really. But the words that she stoned at me were uttered during a peaceful and decent discussion on what we could do to get myself a good working laptop if not this Christmas, as early as possible for as long as I would get a model that is not only worth its price, but useful for the tasks that I’m planning to do.

With that said, I’ll mysteriously fade out of the scene and re-enter the real world for one last time this year, especially this holiday season. In which I’m looking forward to spend time with people around me in the real world and not just in front of my 13-inch display.

Who knows, maybe I’ll rediscover the will and interest to blog again within the next couple of months, or weeks. But I can assure, not days. I also have a little pride in me that got really hacked small by the few painful words she left me.

If it’s not the case that I get back in the mood of blogging within the soon future. I would like to thank everyone beforehand. Everyone who is involved in building up Pinoy Teens Online. Everyone who has contributed to it, all the people who helped me, encouraged me and taught me things in their own unique way.

I’d most especially like to thank the present writing team of Pinoy Teens Online who have been there for me and the website at troublesome times, especially these past few weeks. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Goodbye blogging, goodbye Pinoy Teens Online. You will always be a part of me, like the 1,100,000 other visitors that we’ve touched together.

Within the past five hours two teenagers, yours truly and Izy Mae tried to tackle the Maguindanao Massacre in our very own views and perspective, and it looks like for certain the two of us have got something in common. You can read more about the two posts about the topic on Pinoy Teens Online.

Before I proceed with the shameless pluging of the other blog that I favor to write on most, let me share with you something that you might consider doing, most especially if you really feel bad about what happened to the Maguindanao Massacre about three to four days ago.

It is very easy and simple, and was originally introduced by my friend from GenSantos.Com (if someone else started it, sorry, but I saw it on his blog first)

In honor of Maguindanao Massacre Victims

Feel free to place the Black Ribbon on your sidebar or in your post about the Massacre as a sign of your unity with the thousand of people that mourn and feel saddened by what happened to the over forty innocent victims in Maguindanao. Done!

With that said, I wish to end this post as I can’t think of any possible way to help solve the mystery about the Maguindanao Massacre which the two of us further expanded on the other blog.

It has become a a tradition to the Pinoy Teens Online Community to provide you with live streams to the boxing fights of your favorite boxers, might they be Filipino-alike like Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar de la Hoya and Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton, or might they be non-Filipinos like Mayweather vs Marquez; we’ve always been there with you, watching the fights through the same methods and ways that we provide you.

At this time of the year will come another Pacquiao ’bout that shall serve as the peak event for 2009, one last blow that we’ll over you as, let’s say, a pre-Christmas gift to all of the loyal readers of Pinoy Teens Online and the small interactive community behind it. There’s yet to be another Pacquiao fight, and this time, the opponent who stands in his way is Miguel Cotto from Puerto Rico.

Sopcast Channels for Pacquiao Cotto Fight, soon

I’m more than delighted to announce to you that we will still trust the SopCast Player for the coming Pacquiao Cotto Fight which will be aired on a lovely morning this November 15 for all Filipinos or early at night for people from the United States dating November 14, 2009.

It is no surprise to be honest, why we have decided to provide sopcast boxing channels instead of a channel on Justin.TV for good reasons that a post on Pinoy Teens has enlisted. I dearly hope that we won’t fail you, like we partly did in a latter presentation during the Mayweather bout, and I also hope that even more people will benefit from our resource this time around so that everyone can get their eyes on the Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto battle when the Philippines, and probably Puerto Rico will stand still in time with all their eyes laid at the two boxers to deliver fame or shame to their respective countries.
