Write Press’ future

I have thought about the future of my other domain, writepress.org. One domain that is of certain potential to bring income to me, people say, and also a domain of high potential in informing people about this and that. Initially I thought making it a Buddy Press Installation would work out, but it didn’t. Then I tried to get people hosted on it for the less geekier WordPress MU install that I used on the site until it faded into dust and eventually evaporated to nothing. Now is the time that I do something about it, something useful, something that makes sense, and one option that I look forward to is to start blogging on it again (which is pretty obvious) – but ’bout what can I possibly blog on that blog?

The pretty different start to the day

We write the 18th of October 2009. It’s right now seven in the morning, and I’m not home. No, it’s not one of those days that I’ll get home late (the next day morning) this day is pretty different, and it’s a totally unique way for me to start the day, here at McDonalds which is located in front of the Ateneo de Davao University Grade School, High School Campus. Notably one of the most visited and favored places of me and my girl friend.

The rebirth of Neo and the New NEO Edge

I was lucky to be one of the few to be invited by Blogie to attend the launch of NEO Edge here in Davao City. The so-called invasion of NEO not only in the netbook or notebook category, but as well as the ULV classes of laptops.

The event was scheduled to kick off at eleven, other people from various media organizations arrived a bit late and so did the schedule started a bit late. Two of my other friends in the blogoshere, Charles Ortiz and Ria Jose were already at the said venue, just a few minutes ahead of me.

Blogie eventually arrived just a few minutes after my arrival. Before we tackled NEO and what kind of laptops they have to offer for everyone of us, we started by eating :) And I have to say that it was one of the best lunches that I had, if there was a bad one ever (which I can hardly recall).
